"Congress can't fix it.
Carriers won't fix it.
So we fixed it ourselves."
📵

STIR/SHAKEN failed. The telecom industry's caller ID authentication framework looked promising — but spoofed calls still slip through every single day.

🏛️

Congress keeps stalling. Telecom legislation to stop robocallers has been delayed, watered down, and lobbied into irrelevance for years.

📱

Other apps are faking it. Most call blockers answer your call briefly to check it then hang up. Your phone still rings. Kill The Call stops it before it starts.

How It Works

Simple.
Ruthless.
Effective.

Kill The Call uses Android's system-level call screening — intercepting every call before your phone ever rings. No tricks. No workarounds. The legitimate way.

01

Call Comes In

Any incoming call — including call waiting — is intercepted at the system level before your phone makes a single sound.

02

Rules Check

Instantly checked against your contacts, whitelist, and Number Rules — entirely on-device. Your data never leaves your phone. Ever.

03

Unknown? Killed.

Not in your contacts or rules? Silently rejected. No ring. No notification. Logged as Blocked in your call history so you stay in control.

Features

Built for
Real Life.

System-Level Blocking

Uses Android's CallScreeningService — the legitimate framework-level approach. Not a trick. Not a workaround.

Call Waiting Coverage

Non-contacts blocked mid-conversation too. Your active call is never interrupted.

Hidden Number Blocking

Callers with blocked caller ID are caught at the same gate.

Whitelist

Allow specific numbers through without saving them to your contacts. Pre-loaded with protected carrier service numbers for Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and more.

Full Call Log

Every call that touched your phone — missed, answered, outgoing, and blocked — in one unified screen with five filter tabs.

Number Troubleshooter

Enter any number or caller name and see exactly why Kill The Call would allow or block that call — every matching rule listed in priority order. Free for all users.

Quick Settings Tile

Toggle Kill The Call from your notification shade — no need to open the app.

Number Rules Pro

The crown jewel. An enterprise-grade firewall rules engine. Allow by country code (+1, +44), area code (480), NPA-NXX exchange (480-555), caller name keyword, or exact number. More specific rules always win. Your phone. Your rules. Your exceptions.

Smart Scheduling Pro

Per-day blocking schedules with multiple time windows — blocking that works around your life, not against it.

Encrypted Backup Pro

AES-256 encrypted backup of your settings, whitelist, and Number Rules — protected by a 6-digit PIN. Export and restore across devices.

Export Call Log Pro

Export your blocked calls log as CSV and share via any app. Your data, your format, your way.

Configurable Auto-Delete Pro

Free tier: 30-day rolling log. Pro: set your own retention — 30, 60, 90, or 180 days, or never delete.

What Kill The Call
Does Not Cover.

We believe in honest software. Kill The Call is powerful — but no app can override every carrier, device, and network on the planet. Here's exactly what you need to know before you download.

💡 Screen & Display Behavior

  • On some devices, the screen may briefly illuminate before a blocked call is rejected. The Telecom framework shows the incoming call UI almost simultaneously with notifying Kill The Call.
  • Android does not allow third-party apps to control screen power directly — this requires system-level permissions only pre-installed apps can hold.
  • Kill The Call uses an in-memory contacts cache to respond as fast as technically possible, minimizing any screen flash to near-imperceptible on most modern devices.
  • On Samsung One UI and some OEM skins, a brief screen flash may be more noticeable. This does not affect blocking effectiveness.

📡 Network & Carrier Limitations

  • VoLTE-capable device and carrier required for full call waiting interception.
  • On CDMA or non-VoLTE networks, call waiting from unknown numbers may ring through — this is a carrier limitation, not a bug.
  • Some carriers handle call routing at the network level before the app sees it.
  • Carrier-level call blocking services may conflict with Kill The Call behavior.

💻 VoIP & Third-Party Apps

  • Skype, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and similar apps manage their own call stack — Kill The Call cannot intercept these.
  • WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal voice calls operate independently of Android's Telecom framework and are not covered.
  • Google Voice calls routed through Android Telecom are generally covered — standalone in-app calls may not be.
  • Standard carrier calls and VoLTE calls are fully covered.

⚖️ General Disclaimers

  • Kill The Call does not guarantee 100% blocking of all unwanted calls under all conditions.
  • Effectiveness depends on your specific device, carrier, Android version, and network type.
  • A brief screen flash on blocked calls is normal on some devices and is not a malfunction.
  • Kill The Call is not a substitute for reporting scam calls to the FCC.
  • MyChatVault LLC is not responsible for calls not intercepted due to carrier or device limitations outside our control.
