Terms & Disclaimer

Last Updated: June 2026

1. No Guarantee of Performance

Kill The Call ("the App") is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. MyChatVault LLC does not guarantee that the App will block 100% of unwanted calls under all conditions, on all devices, or on all carrier networks. Call blocking effectiveness depends entirely on factors outside our control including but not limited to your device manufacturer, Android version, carrier network type, and carrier-level call handling policies.

2. Minimum Requirements

The App requires Android 10.0 (API 29) or later and a VoLTE-capable device and carrier for full functionality. Google Play Store distribution is configured to restrict availability to compatible devices. If you obtained this App outside of the Google Play Store, MyChatVault LLC assumes no responsibility for any resulting issues.

3. Missed Calls

MyChatVault LLC assumes no responsibility, financial or otherwise, for any call — wanted or unwanted — that is missed, blocked, or not blocked as a result of using or not using this App. By installing and enabling Kill The Call, you acknowledge and accept that some calls may not be intercepted due to device, carrier, or network limitations beyond our control.

4. Third-Party VoIP Applications

Kill The Call operates exclusively within Android's native Telecom framework. Calls received through third-party applications including but not limited to Skype, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram, and similar platforms are outside the scope of this App and will not be intercepted.

5. CDMA & Non-VoLTE Networks

Users on CDMA or non-VoLTE carrier networks may experience reduced functionality, particularly with call waiting interception. This is a carrier-level limitation. MyChatVault LLC makes no representations regarding performance on such networks. This is an Android platform and carrier limitation, not a Kill The Call limitation.

5a. Hidden Number (*67) Calls

On some devices and carriers, calls placed with caller ID blocked (*67 or equivalent) may be handled at the carrier network level before reaching Kill The Call's screening service. In these cases the call may not be blocked or logged. This is a carrier-level limitation entirely outside Kill The Call's control.

6. Screen Display Behavior

On some devices, the screen may briefly illuminate when an incoming call is being processed and rejected. This is a function of Android's Telecom framework and is outside the control of MyChatVault LLC. This behavior does not indicate a malfunction and does not affect blocking effectiveness.

7. User Settings & Configuration

All settings, toggles, schedules, and configurations within Kill The Call are entirely under the control of the user. MyChatVault LLC assumes no responsibility for calls missed or received as a result of user-configured settings including but not limited to disabled blocking, active schedules, timer-based snooze, or incorrectly configured contact entries.

8. Emergency Calls

Emergency calls (911 and local equivalents) are never intercepted by Kill The Call. This is mandated by Android and enforced at the system level.

9. Support & Reporting

If you experience unexpected behavior, please submit a support ticket through the Kill The Call app via Settings → Support Ticket before leaving a negative review. Please include your device model, Android version, carrier name, and a clear description of the issue. MyChatVault LLC will make reasonable efforts to investigate and address confirmed, reproducible issues.

10. Unused App Permissions

Android may automatically revoke permissions if Kill The Call is unused for an extended period. If blocking stops working, open the app and re-grant permissions. You can disable this behavior in Settings → Apps → Kill The Call → "Manage app if unused."

11. App Updates

Android OS updates, carrier updates, or device manufacturer updates may affect App functionality. MyChatVault LLC will make reasonable efforts to maintain compatibility but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service following third-party system updates.

12. Privacy

Kill The Call does not collect, transmit, store, or share any user data, contact information, or call history. All processing occurs entirely on-device. Full details are available in our Privacy Policy.

13. Support Tickets & Email Collection

When you submit a support ticket through Kill The Call, you may optionally provide an email address to receive a response. Your email address is collected solely for the purpose of responding to your support request. It will never be sold, shared, or used for marketing purposes. Support ticket data is retained for 12 months then permanently deleted. You may request deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MyChatVault LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from the use of or inability to use this App, including but not limited to missed calls, lost business, or any other loss of any kind.

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── SECTION 14 — EMERGENCY CALL LOGGING ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── 14.1 Emergency Mode Activation When Kill The Call detects an outbound call to a recognized emergency number (911, 112, 999, or equivalent), it activates Emergency Mode. Emergency Mode suspends all call blocking for a minimum of 60 minutes to ensure that Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) callback calls are never blocked, regardless of their originating number. 14.2 Permanent Emergency Logs Kill The Call creates and maintains a permanent, tamper-resistant log of all Emergency Mode events. These logs are stored exclusively on your device in an unencrypted SQLite database. They are never uploaded to MyChatVault LLC servers or transmitted to any third party under any circumstances. Emergency logs record the following information at the moment of 911 detection: timestamp (UTC and local), outbound emergency number dialed, GPS coordinates (latitude, longitude, accuracy, altitude), reverse- geocoded street address, all inbound calls received during the Emergency Mode window, the time blocking was suspended and restored, app version, device model, and a SHA-256 integrity hash of the complete record. 14.3 No Deletion Emergency logs cannot be deleted by the user or by any app function. No delete option exists in the application interface. Logs persist through all app resets, data clears, and reinstallations. They are only lost if the device is factory reset or wiped, which is solely the responsibility of the device owner. 14.4 GPS Location Capture With the user's permission (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION), Kill The Call captures a single GPS location snapshot at the moment Emergency Mode is activated. This snapshot is stored with the emergency log and included in any court-ready export. Location is captured once, at the moment of detection only. Kill The Call does not track location continuously at any time. If the user declines location permission, GPS fields will be empty but all other log fields are still recorded. 14.5 Court-Ready Export Users may voluntarily export emergency logs in CSV format from Settings → Emergency Logs → Export for Legal Proceedings. Each export includes all recorded fields, the SHA-256 integrity hash, a chain of custody statement, and the export timestamp. This export is suitable for voluntary disclosure to law enforcement or legal counsel. 14.6 Law Enforcement Access MyChatVault LLC does not possess, store, or have any access to emergency logs. These records exist solely on the user's device. In response to a valid search warrant or court order directing MyChatVault LLC to assist law enforcement, MyChatVault LLC will provide technical documentation of the emergency log database schema, file location, field definitions, and SHA-256 integrity verification procedure to assist authorized forensic extraction from the device. MyChatVault LLC cannot independently produce emergency log records as they do not exist on our servers or in any system under our control. Direct all law enforcement inquiries and legal process to: [email protected] 14.7 Disclosure to Users By using Kill The Call, you acknowledge that: (a) Emergency logs are created and permanently stored on your device whenever a 911 call is detected; (b) These logs may include GPS coordinates of your device's location at the time of the emergency call (if location permission is granted); (c) These logs cannot be deleted through any app function; (d) Authorized law enforcement with appropriate legal process may access these records through forensic device examination; (e) MyChatVault LLC has zero access to these records and cannot produce them independently. Emergency logging is a protective feature designed to preserve critical evidence for your benefit in emergency situations. ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

16. Changes to This Disclaimer

MyChatVault LLC reserves the right to update this disclaimer at any time. Continued use of the App following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
